# Create Order

POST http://localhost:8000/api/v1/orders
Content-Type: application/json

**Endpoint:** `http://localhost:8000/api/v1/orders`

Creates a new order for a customer, specifying the products and quantities to include.

## Request Body

| `customer_id`        | integer |          | The ID of the customer placing the order |
| `items`              | array   | ✓        | List of order items                      |

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.
